His Work of Art

it had been, let see... **cricket sounds** wow~ that long ago since i actually partied so hard in one weekend... i woke up this morning for work to protesting muscles and body ache... the warm comforter didnt exactly help in kicking me outta bed, as well... just as well, he had to work morning shift today... otherwise, i might have succumbed to the temptation of calling in sick... i remembered laying there weighing my options... my responsibilities at work, staying home alone while he's at work... or... giving my body ache an opportunity to get their much needed rest, having my nose a run for its money... fortunately though, i chose to clock in for work... responsibilities were stretching me thin today...

anyway, back to friday...

friday, oct 1 @ 12.00am

i knew you were compiling clips from my friends for a birthday video... i saw a glimpse of the files that you left in the recycle bins without deleting them... but what i didnt expect was the lengths of some of them who did what they did... the people i cared most were there and you reminded me why they were close to my heart... julz asked, so did i tear up or did i laugh??? and i did just both... and amazingly, at the same time...

friday, oct 1 @ 6.00am

the deal was i go to work in the morning, and the second half of the day would be his... i got up and went through my daily routines, bathing and getting dressed for work... as i walked to the living room, i thought i saw a glimpse of whitish things stuck on the living room wall... i was actually kinda weirded out... when i switched on the lights, i found huge papers stuck to the wall... they spelled "happy birthday"... definitely was a great way to start the day... and yes dear... i was really surprised...

friday, oct 1 @ 8.30am

he had the whole day planned out, or so i thought only a day planned out... that morning in office was hectic... scrambling to clear my one day tasks by lunch time... i was all over the place, workstation cluttered with papers and millions of opened apps on my desktop... i didnt even have time for my bladder... thinking i had my timing planned out in time to go back by 12.30pm, i'd totally forgotten about my departmental celebration... but knowing me, i would and did squeeze in some time for a really good home baked cheese cake...

friday, oct 1 @ 1.30pm

i rushed off to the car park just in time to be drenched by the rain... well, not really anyway... the umbrella was drenched to be exact... after taking some time for my banking chores, i got home half an hour apart from him reaching home... looking like a alex mercer wannabe... personally, i think he did quite a good impersonation on that character... lol XP

as i reached home, i know i was supposed to solve a 3 parts clue for my next birthday present... his first clue, given on the morning itself... the clue said something like look around my drawer or look inside my drawer... i did both... i looked in, i looked left, i looked right and i looked up... almost smacked myself on the head when i found out i missed out looking under the drawer!!! the second and the third clues were a breeze... as i found my second present(s), i saw him going near the wall... at the back of my mind, i thought he was admiring his paper on the wall artwork... but i didnt really dwell much on that, as i was ogling over my present(s)... yes, i wrote (s) with a purpose... there were one cute hippo, kinda have a resemblance of his cute facial expression, and a white i-dont-know-what-it-is stuff toy in a mug saying:
teddy loves you,
from alex
was playing with my new toys when he hinted that i looked again at his paper artwork... and there it was another present waiting for me... this time, the present completes my v-moda earpiece... a really good bass-y sony walkman to pair with the bass enhancing v-moda earphones... (i'm now on ecstasy blogging while listening to dj faith... yes, it is that good)...

friday, oct 1 @ 3.30pm

i brought back some of the cheese cake home for our lunch... was thinking light lunch, save tummy space for heavy dinner later... and it's not a small portion that i brought back... he took a bite and couldnt stop eating it... it was that good...

friday, oct 1 @ 6.30pm

we freshen up and got ready for dinner... we walked around pavilion and fahrenheit 88 for awhile before heading to starhill for shook!... the food were marvelous... the drinks were amazing... and the service was superb... i said the dinner was a lil pricey... he said it was worth the price to pay... who would deny yourself such a great service meal???

friday, oct 1 @ 10.00pm

the night has yet to finish... he got me my first gold class movie... the movie was pretty good, though took up quite an effort of mine to interpret julia robert's behind the curtain meaning of the show... but the best part was, popcorns were served to us during the movie... AND a leather recliner for each of us with warm comforter for me... i couldnt resist but took off my shoes to hide beneath the comforter and sit back into the recliner...by the time we got home, it was already 4hours later... i think i dropped on the bed... or did i???

saturday, oct 2 @ 5.30am

we were supposed to wake up early and appreciate the sunrise at look out point... unfortunately, after the early hours of work and late night movie, none managed to get up... the next i know, the sun had risen and it was already almost noon...

saturday, oct 2 @ 12.00pm

being such a dear, he got up and cooked up a storm of pasta and soup for lunch... let's see... he called it the oily oilio pasta and his soup d' spirally... and after so long of training... he got two perfect poached eggs to go with the pasta...

saturday, oct 2 @ 8.30pm

julz got one of the worst act in pretending to be sad to get me to mist club that night... i heard i'm sad but laced with laughter??? moreover, by then i'd already found out that he had indeed planned out another surprise for me... his cover up was blown on friday when he gave anson a call, saying something about saturday to mist... the second blow came when phyo called while we were napping... brains ticking, i knew phyo wouldnt call unless it had something to do with us going to mist club... and he fell for my sulk and confirmed my guesses... lol XP chill, dear when you read this... at least i was still hazy on who was attending...

saturday, oct 2 @ 10.30pm

hazy, until you allowed me to see julz message saying esther was already waiting in mist... i had to swallow a laughter, knowing you were air smacking your head for that blunder... but out of all the blunders and secrets you tried to keep from me, i really had a great time... you kinda reminded me again, who is of real importance to me... and it still surprised me... and that night, i partied like i hadnt before... not for myself, but for you and those who were there for me... for especially for leang... you gave me a huge surprise and a great birthday gift that night...

sunday, oct 3 @ 5.30am

after leaving OHSEM leang to rest at home, we took off for our sunrise hunting... missing it the day before, we thought we might as well give it a go since we were still awake... parked ourselves at look out point, we waited for about an hour and a half... from one stop to another, and more waiting... we realized that look out point is only facing west... unfortunately for us, there will be no sunrise for the weekend... fortunately for us, we got to spend a great deal of quality time together... it had been awhile since we just sat in the car and chatted...

with him being tipsy, most of his photos were blurred... and some, i really had no idea what he was trying to shoot at... there were conspiracy of his photos having creepy floating bottles, alien invasions etc... really, it was just plain black with photos of nothingness... we ARE still trying to figure out the photos...

sunday, oct 3 @ 12.30pm

ko-ed for a few hours, julz messaged for lunch... since we still gotta pick up leang's car, we reluctantly pulled ourselves from the bed and got out for lunch... leang was still blur from the shots we gave him the night before, and both of us groggy from the lack of sleep... got ourselves some interesting pan mee varieties some 2 hours later...

sunday, oct 3 @ 3.30pm

parked our sleepy asses at julz's crib... one were staring at the wall <-- leang, obviously... one were playing with bow bow, two busy cleaning the dishes and one (ME) busy opening birthday present... i'd definitely find a place at work for the new photo frame of julz, evon and bow bow...

sunday, oct 3 @ 4.30pm

took a ride with julz to desa park city... and stupidly, i forgot that it was a park... i wore my heels there... i think it killed my legs... aside from my aching legs which i almost forgotten about as soon as i opened my mouth to yelp ouch, i was smitten by the varieties of good looking dogs... from cute pekingese fur ball, more pomeranian fur balls, really tiny infant poodles to handsome husky celebrities and his favourite friendly golden retriever... we were so engrossed in them that 2 hours just flew by without us realizing...

sunday, oct 3 @ 8.30pm

drove over the toll and had our dinner in ikea... ohhh, dreams came true for him... yummy meatballs!!! walked a bit more, and we were headed home... both of us collapsed the minute our heads hit the pillows...

and oh no!!! my body is still aching!!!
