welcomed tyler as my first kitty...
we were first introduced to tyler when we brought our babes to the vet for a routine checkup... what happened next was - kitty soft paws - comfy soft fur - big round googly eyes - and the melted heart... the new kitty is now so attached to starbucks, it felt like he has adopted starbucks as his surrogate mother... the first month in yb zoo, he was the self-appointed motion and sound detector... any small twitch or drop of water, and the mewing alarm will be activated...
extended double date from bangkok to kl...
DL and ES came down for a wedding over one of the weekends in jan... so, while there were here... we extended our double dates... and of course sharpening my skills in feeding DL till he's bloated up... and leaving AY some bro time chatting with DL... oh well, i hope they actually got to spend time doing that...
adopted a nuisance husky, fuji...
yup, her name is fuji of the apple... although she caused such a wreckage at home, i know deep down AY loves her to bits... and i also know that no matter how many times i'll ever try to throw her out of the house, this is just gonna hurt AY way too much... that is why, she is still a resident of the zoo (though her permanent resident status has yet to be approved)... and just recently, we have decided to change her name to fudini (after houdini)... she had been doing a disappearing act from her cage... first she escaped a latched cage... then, she escaped from her locked and latched cage... and now, she's perfecting her timing to do so... and yes, hence the nuisance tag to her...
imported my parents down for cny...
this year was our very first year hosting cny... from a quiet celebration, we had more guests than we first planned out... LB and family + extended four legged goggles came for a visit... RF and +1 came over for cny steamboat and to entertain tyler... then, more friends came over for a visit... it was really fun... minus the tiring routine of cooking and cleaning up after...
skipped valentine's day...
ok, not exactly skipping valentine's day... after all the hectic schedules through cny, we finally managed to get out for a really quiet celebration only the both of us... our getting back together anniversary and valentine's day all together, nomming away his favourite pancakes at paddington... and being a bcard member, we even received complimentary pancakes for dessert... and then a pampered movie at the platinum suite, just the way he likes it... but the real celebration was a lovely candle light dinner at home... just the two of us in our dimly lit living room with the zoo animals at bay...
the big boy's birthday celebration...
now, if i really looked back from the eve of cny, we had been celebrating and eating a lot on a daily basis... and his godsis even took an early trip back from pg to celebrate his birthday (actually both their birthdays together)... ahhh, blessed day (i hope he felt that way =P)... everyone coming together to be with him on his big day... having given him so many huge presents lately, i decided to go on a smaller scale this time around... went under his nose to replace his lost bike club sorta patches and a new buff for his future rides (which fuji left two big holes in it)...
starbucks turned TWO...
my baby is now two years old... she threw a yoghurt party and happily gobbled them up... that day itself was crazy for her... ate a huge bowl of kibbles... then the yoghurt... what was left was her walking around funny with a big belly...

KM, a cousin of AY finally gave birth to her baby boy after 9 months... and just the right time for a peek on cny... it was also a great timing for me to catch up with a former colleague, a complicated linkage - the boyfriend of KM's husband's cousin... haha!
chap goh meh, the street party!!!
thanks to shin, we were invited to the posh area of kota kemuning for a lavish street party... thrown by the house owners of the street, we were presented with luxury restaurant chinese course meals... complete with fire crackers, fireworks, phun choy, scallops and abalones... oh my, it was a really awesome way to close the cny for the year...
another kitty waltzed into my zoo...
i wasnt even sure what i was doing, when AY told me there was a tiny kitten at the back of house... i was not surprised by that, as i've heard the kitten a couple of nights before... at that time, it was pretty late into the night and i couldnt find the source of the mewing... this time around when AY showed me the kitten, i could see it was hungry... skinny to the bones and was trying to gnaw at sticky tape stuck to the floor as food... reluctantly, AY allowed me to approach the kitten and feed it... again, big round googly eyes and trying to cuddle with me, kinda melted my heart... so i thought, let's cleaned it up... once fluffy, it turned into a her... and soon after, joined tyler in the zoo... and was named char, as in short for charcoal...
roasting family day...
and you'd think the packed weekends would ease up, you thought wrong... just as feb slipped by, march came knocking in with the company family day... not something unusual, but it's also one of those times when i was volunteered to help out... started the day super early, our planned was to go off by noon to rest... well, as time flew by, we actually stayed to complete most of the exciting rides at the amusement and extreme park... long queues, but it was pretty worth it... or so, i thought till i came home with bad heat retention...

introducing YM and IK to the 1 buck chicken promo from dragon-i and canton-i, it was all planned out that we shall not let this promo go to waste... just as well that AY was working morning that day... so after a long day at work, all of us started our weekend with the promo in dragon-i (it's really good, i must say)... and then went on to join the long queue in ikea for their 2 bucks meatballs... and overkilled our tummy for that... lol~

yesterday marked the last day AY would be calling reaper his... saying goodbye to the reaper, he signed off the papers to get the name transfer done... sold off to a young boy, hopefully will be taking care good care of it... while he was mourning the loss of his dear friend (yes, the car), he decided to console himself with a new expensive helmet... and yes, again to replace the one that was destroyed by fuji... happiness, sadness... i'm not sure which outweighs the other...
@.@... now that's super long summary... but oh well... this marks my comeback to my long neglected blog!!!
