Mama Rosa!

when i first heard that she's resigning from her job... my first thought was, she'd probably found another job to jump into... then it got weird that she started taking cooking classes and then baking... then mom called, asking me if i know anything... her parents were getting worried that she had not found any job prior to leaving deloitte...

i waited for her to log on to her msn, since we're separated with the time difference between kl and melbourne... finally when i get to chat with her... her reply was that she was taking a career break and wanted to try out things she's passionate about... she wanted to sell cakes and cookies, or what we call here the kuihs...

i guess malaysians may think it's a stupid move... but it's pretty normal for westerners to take time off from their career... and selling asian food is not that bad... you can actually make big bucks out of it... and from the photos she posted on facebook... the results of her hard work are marvelous... they look good and yummy... just look at the photos and believe it... how i wish that she does exports them to kl... and more importantly this is what she's passionate about... though she's starting to doubt herself a lil... what with her msn personal message changed to "am i willing to pay for the price of passion?"...

anyway, now i guess things have calmed down a lil here back at home... her mom and sisters are getting the hang of the idea... in fact, one of her elder sister had flown over to help her out and trying her luck on getting back into the australian market... and as usual, the only hiccup is from her dad... but that's to expect... simple solution to that: nod and go "hmm hmm..." and ignore...
