The End of a Roaring Year

wow... it has been quite a while since i pen anything here... sitting here, i'm still scratching my head wondering what had i been doing all this time... seems like time just flew by... and it kinda did...

after seeing my car off at the service center, i was left hanging without transportation for a couple of weeks while they repaired the bum of my car... the perks, got to run with reaper... cons... gosh!!! it wasnt the best job from perodua at all... and i definitely wasnt happy with their service... i found the contractors meddling with my sound system, blasting songs and messing with my sub... then as i went into the car, i could smell ciggies and saw huge dried muds in the interior...

anyway, by the end of the week... i was almost smiling and enjoying the last week with the big four, car or no car... and that smile definitely didnt last long... started a new job the following monday, though i shall keep the new company's name anonymous... and came to realize that i was kinda conned into this responsibility... to make matter worst, the company screwed up my salary and the reimbursement for my notice period... some ding dong here and there, with lotsa banging and complains and pushing and i was paid back the amount i was supposed to receive... glad to get the cash back, but the the mess was already imprinted with irb... with the screw up, my annual income had been hiked by a level in the eyes of irb, by which it meant i'd probably end up paying a higher percentage for 2011's assessment... technicality aside, the trust had already been broken...
currently, i'm serving my notice with arrangement of taking unpaid leave with the big four... yup, i'm going back to the old place, as though i've been taking a long break... truthfully, i'm not sure if i'm really happy for this arrangement, but i'll definitely gotta make it work... given my word to AC, i'll stick for some time this round...hopefully, i'll be able to learn more stuff from a big corporation as such...

regardless how unhappy i am now with the shortest ever served company in my record, i'm pleased with the amount of work i'd done in this short period... clocking in only the stipulated time in my contract and i still managed to clear backlogs dated back in 2009... sped up quite a few processes here and there... and i must say, i did this company a hell lot of favor considering what i had to go through for my pay just before the CNY break...
