One of Those Days - Continuation

by the end of yesterday after my last post, just before i squeezed myself into bed among all the pillows, comforter and FURry daughters... my phone beeped for incoming emails... *yes, yes... my phone is now a little smarter and can access my emails* anyway, i saw that someone dear to me left a comment... and it actually made me smile... no, laugh is more like it... OF COURSE she is not in the list of those i'd assumed dead!!! where did she get that idea??? *horror!!! @.@*

while there are times i yell at the top of my lungs (ok, like yesterday)... i do appreciate the little things in life... the tiny details that actually make my day... great friends who stick around regardless, sharing the happiness and heart breaks... amazing people who put up with my antiques, craziness and his (sometimes, our) sarcasm... and some individuals who stay hidden for most times, yet show up offering their shoulders and assistance when times are bad... (and then disappear again)

and there will be those rare times, with what i saw on the streets, that reminded me the meaning of hope... that there are still jewels out there... and not everyone comes with motives behind every action... today is a good example of that...

i was out driving to work this morning, as usual... as i was weaving through the traffic, the car in front of me just refused to budge, even when cars cleared out the front for him... being grumpy from the heavy traffic and a bad headache, my right palm was moving towards pressing the honk to give a nudge to the guy in front... as he inched tortoise-ly to the front, he cleared the view for me to see two motorcycles flat on the road... two riders were crouched over in pain...

now, being a malaysian, my first intuition was that "heck, move on... dont block the road just being busy body"... but really, the driver in front surprised me... he actually moved to the side and came out to help out, while other stopped riders just looked on... then i looked at the rear view mirror... the truck behind me just stopped in the middle of the road, got down and helped out too... and it actually motivated other onlookers to stop staring and help the riders... *sad as it is, i continued on with my journey and didnt help... i wouldnt be able to even help carry the fallen motorcycles... i'm sorry larrrrrrrrrrr*

thinking back, repainting the whole morning picture... the world aint that bad, after all... there will some good in all the bad, at some point in time... :)
