my weekend started off on wednesday... no, i was not on long leave... went to work like usual... the only difference was my superior was away conducting training for two whole days... it was so much fun, blasting songs away while slowly doing my work... and a last minute arrangement to accompany JC to find suitable dress for WL's wedding on saturday...
friday
then friday came knocking... mom and dad took a bus down for a brief visit... it was my first time driving blindly, directed only by the gps installed on my mobile, to the hentian duta to pick them up... luckily, i found my destination easily and the area was not as congested as pudu... my assumption, most of the traffic had been diverted to bukit jalil instead... took some time to chat with AL before his working hours start... just as i hung up with him, i saw mom and dad in their passing bus by the road... all three of us starving, we headed straight to curve... surprisingly, it was pretty near... took me less than 10 minutes to zip my way there... since dad said he wanted western food and they had not try tgif previously, i decided to treat them something nice... and thanks to AL, i didnt even have to fork out a single cent... XP
mom being mom... wanted to see where AL works... just as the rain started pouring, i sped my way through the building traffic all the way to cyber... rushing to catch AL in time for dinner... we not only had banana leaf for dinner, mom made friends with the restaurant owner... amazingly, penangites seems to bond faster regardless of their whereabouts... mom managed to squeeze out substantial background info of the owner... all this in less than 15 minutes... haha! how cool is that???
drove around in putrajaya for dad... it was afterall his first trip to the other end of kl... stopped by alamanda for them to hang around a bit... nothing much to see or shop... what more with them pretty burnt out from the travelling... went home to rest and wait up for AL... needed some rest for WL's wedding the next day, anyway... plus the fact that we were instructed to gear ourselves up for some belly stuffing on her luncheon...
saturday
had the longest wedding luncheon ever on saturday... stuffed ourselves silly in shogun for four long hours and had some fun cam-whoring with the gals... pity mom and dad though... they decided to walk aorund while waited for us... more like got lost in the building itself... then after, more food some couple hours later... with LB and the kids at a seafood restaurant... goodness gracious... the portion of the food that we ordered was humongous... i barely had time to digest the shogun buffet, before i stuffed myself silly again on more food... really, i think i kinda OD-ed on food temp...
sunday
took mom and dad to bukit jalil for their bus home... a delayed of an hour later and off they go saying their goodbyes for now... with her cute ways, mom reminded AL to take goood care of me... *hint hint* =P our initial plan was to park our car in bkt bintang and take the monorail to pwtc for the youth festival...
dehydrated, i was almost dropping off... told AL to skip pwtc and just go low yat and grab the price listing... stopping by for a drink, we thought of going for a movie... then decided against it and started looking at the price for a new desktop... thinking of only planning to get one, we scout around shops which will give us free service charge for credit cards... couple of hours later, we were hanging in viewnet ordering parts for a brand new desktop... from a planned to get later to a impromptu decision to just get one cash up front... haha! and till now, both of us are still not done tweaking the baby monster...

today
came to a decision to turn down the counter offer... skyped the section head to inform her... apparently, there wasnt any vacancy for the position she offered yet... the company will only create it once i've accepted... sigh... although i'm impressed to the lengths they would go to retain me... it's slightly too late for all that now... sadly, i no longer trust their future promises now... and i'm still standing firm to my last day next week...
