One Week Short of 3 Years

just one week before my 3rd year anniversary with sunway, i bidded farewell to my first job last friday... i left with such mixed feelings... i was pretty down to leave all my colleagues that i just started to call them friends... at the same time, happy and excited that i'll be leaving rumor-filled department... urrgghhhh...

most of my former colleague's last day were spent taking photographs and walking around the office... surprise surprise!!! i spent my last day in departmental meeting for the whole morning... snap some photos with people who could have been a better boss to me at level 18... came back, with even more surprises... finance team called me for my last help to get some report out... i was almost laughing out loud... they were pushing their luck for my assistance to avoid the hassle of requesting the reports from my immediate superior...

thinking it was still too early to walk around... i spent some time keeping to my promise to RZ... he so wanted to take over my lappy... now, now... who wouldnt want to do that??? it was so well kept and maintained... it was all plug and play... all the software he needed and more were ready to fire up with a click of the mouse... by the time i realized the time... it was already 5.30pm...

of all the days, my camera battery decide to die that day... oh well... so i went around chatting and saying my goodbyes without photographic memories... even without a camera, it took me almost 2 hours to get my goodbye chats done... and that was only with half the employees, since it was school holiday after all... i wondered if all employees were around, how long it'd take me... hmmm... by the time i finished my rounds, all my colleagues had left for the weekend...

2 hours later, with more stuff to cleared from my desk (i've started clearing my workstation about a week before... 3 years of junks were fitted into ONE a3 box, TWO a4 boxes and 2 recyclable bags...), i stuffed more junks into my final recyclable bag... yes, but dont give me that wide eyed look!!!

i then said my final goodbye to the office and headed home with a heavy heart... one more door closed to make way for another adventure...
