A New Life, A New Beginning

although they have been registered for 2 years (correct me if i'm wrong, babe), last saturday was still a turning point in their life... to be officially married culturally, in terms of the tea ceremony... with a reservation of 150 pax at shogun, WL and DT celebrated their wedding in style and rebelliously *wink wink* together with family members and friends from kl... choosing to do things differently, they had

designed their own wedding album
designed their own invitation cards
decided to do a luncheon instead
decided that the bride to wear a boots paired with her wedding gown
given leeway for the groom to be his own photographer and videographer
blessed their invitees with a full fledge buffet for stomach stuffing

and they not only had one function to celebrate their wedding... penangites will soon be welcoming them this saturday for DT's side of the family... my eyes went O.O when i heard that there will be about 800++ invitees for the coming one... then again, this celebration will be a twin wedding celebration with DT's twin brother... haha! sorry again, gal... that we couldnt be there to create a mass destruction on your piñata... =) enjoy yourselves...

after the much awaited planning and preparations... JL had finally arrived to our home safely and in one piece last monday... the previously DL/JL room has been officially turned into a JL research room, if you know what i mean... XP

after some 6 rounds of 3rd floor to his car, he had managed to haul up all his belongings to our humble home... after some clearing and unpacking... he came to realize that he was missing a desk, up to the point that he was using his ironing board as a temp table...

as i was rushing home to see if he was doing ok, i saw him driving out of the housing compound to buy a desk to house his notebook... him driving is a good sign... it was a safe bet that he wont get himself lost somewhere in town... he was after all armed with a powerful and useful tool.. GARMIN!!!

waking up the following for work was easier said than done... i was struggling to get myself off my comfy bed, but i had to... since i would need to beat the morning traffic and drop JL at the lrt station in time for him to get to work... everything went smoothly as planned, until evening...

came evening, i was told JL got himself lost in bb plaza trying to find his way to lowyat... that was just the beginning of it... keeping contact with him, he finally decide it was time to come home at about 8pm... almost an hour later, i got a text saying he had been waiting for more than 7 trains... but non stated ampang line... what a surprise since star lrt should alternate ampang line and sentul timur... couple minutes later, phone beeped again... JL had actually gone to putra line station instead...

imagine, from hang tuah station to home... he had actually taken a star lrt train to the opposite direction, getting off in masjid jamek... went to putra lrt and waited for a LONG time for a train... then found out he got on the wrong station and walked back to star lrt... and finally, took a train back home...

i rushed out to pick him up at the nearest station... it was by then, already 10pm... poor JL... his first day and it didnt really ended well for him... i sure hope things will be smooth sailing from now on...

as of today, no complains yet... =D yay!
