it's been some time since i've been able to really sit down and relax, ever since i started my new job... i used to be able to multitask between surfing and working... and still achieve efficiency at work... now, i get to multitask between work and discussions and meetings and work!!! yup!!! the surfing part is no longer in the picture...
now, i'm slaving myself up early for work... urrgghhh!!! i pity JL though, waking up almost as early as i am to car pool to the lrt station... as i reached the office, i have just enough time to turn on my pc, refill my glass of water, grab a bite of breakfast, start up my outlook... and then PING! it's 8.30 am and time to join the rat race...
reply a couple of emails, make a few phone calls, more research... blink a few times and it's lunch... blink a few more times, more research and it's already 5.30 pm...it's been 2 weeks now since i dive into the shark filled ocean... and it's that long since i get to even do any personal surfing for 10 min...
skipping the cons of the work for now (trying superbly hard to stay motivated and maintaining the tempo), the job does give me quite a few perks... one, i'm already utilizing my annual leave... with 12 more to go till the end of the year... two, i get to be home by 7.30 pm daily... three, i'm meeting so many new people internally and externally... it's so fun, that my job even requires me to spend time walking around in 1U during working hours...
then again, my question remains... where did all my free time gone to???
