December Exhaustion

now that december is out of the way, i can take a moment to relax a teeny bit more... before the cny wave hits me again... last month was the most hectic month i've ever been through...

work was crazy... stretched myself so thin, i think one can see through me... the time when everyone cleared leave was also the busiest time ever... i think even the bees would drop dead from exhaustion...

going home after work didnt help either... there was the prepping and packing for the big move... moving as much as we can before the 3 tonne truck was scheduled... every weekend was stricken off from availability... every weekend was spent at the new home... if it's not cleaning, it's assembling new furniture... or the unpacking of the boxes and bags...

and then the planning for our first christmas party and house warming... first draft, bbq party... so there's chickens, sausages (drove in all the way from singapore), marshmallows, crab sticks, fish balls... then we got worried we may not have enough food... we raised the alarm for catering... then shin chipped in with his almighty and yummy mash... the sergeant grill sponsored fish on sticks... and then decided to throw in some lamb... it's been two weeks now, we have yet to completely finish the leftovers... lol~ now, that's overdoing it... BUT, no regrets... the food was great... the company was amazing (including the visitor doggie)...

at the end of it all, i'm just glad everyone enjoyed themselves... minus the cleaning after... for that, i'm really thankful mom was around to help out... by the time we were all done, it was way, waY, wAY, WAY past midnight...

i think i dropped dead... dreaming of spending christmas in the curve... and treated everyone a christmas dinner in marche... oh wait!!! it did happen... i wasnt dreaming at all... now, that's a christmas spent with the family...
