following my last update, i was dragged into the whirlpool of revamping my company's performance appraisal / management system... it was a back to back craziness one after another... from designing (or more continuously amending the design cos the bosses kept changing their minds) to pilot runs to more changes to confirming framework to briefings and trainings to execution... now, i'm having some breather time before i'm sucked in again... so, while i'm here waiting for those peeps out there to complete their forms... might as well i update my blog a little (and i'd only recently realised that the template i chose hadnt been working and thus this webby has been loading a blank page)...
let's see... what had happen since then???
JH got married, FINALLY!!! he'd been talking and thinking and re-thinking of his choices since, i dont know, forever... and now, he had finally made his decision to settle down with his long-time girlfriend... woking up late for his church wedding, i had initially thought of skipping it... but heck, he is a good friend... i know i'd be unhappy if friends i'd invited for my wedding didnt turn up... it was definitely a record breaking drive from shah alam to PJ and gotten there just as the bride waltzed into the main hall... too bad, EC and PN couldnt make it... otherwise it would have been a great gathering... ahhhh, but i bet both of them were having a good time... one, an anniversary honeymoon... and another, cooking up a storm feeding herself in a new country...
while busy with the appraisal system revamp, we were also helping out with the company's annual dinner... nothing much to shout about the event... but i supposed it's a great time to unwind and feed ourselves silly... i'm not sure about the rest, but i know i did... what was really fun was the after party... me and a bunch of colleagues just decided to hang out and go crazy, just for the fun of it... well, cocoon wasnt the best choice... but the company was great... and this is also my first, after a superbly long time, to have been staying awake for more than 20 hours straight...
waking up the next day was the hardest thing to do... my lack of sleep from work... and accumulated tiredness from running around after AY's accident... BUT, i cant say no to a 600 bucks worth of ticket to HAIRSPRAY!!! my boss called me and another colleague in to his office the day before, under the pretext of requesting us to work through weekends again (yup, i'd been doing that throughout the month plus lotsa OT and bringing work back from office)... well, he surprised us with the hairspray tickets... oh my!!! my first real broadway musical... if it hadnt been for my runny nose, i would have enjoyed the musical even more...
